OFF CAMERA FLASH

my first attempt at off camera flash using an st-e2,a 580ex 1 and a reflective umbrella
no pp except levelsin PSE

U should stick to 400.

I say 400 or lower, as well as use ISO 100 if you're doing studio off camera flashing.

That's what I would do in my opinion.

i use 800 iso and never have this much grain/noise and im using the xs

I think the shots are nice, but there is too much ISO noise. That seems high for 800. Are these crops? You should try shooting at lower ISO, and use noise reduction software for these shots.

If your using an off camera flash there really isnt much reason to not be at ISO 100. Just turn up the power on the flash.
