Horses in our local dam love the water lillies for lunch.:cool:

Ha! I love it! I especially like the first shot with the flowers in the foreground.

I did a similar series about two months ago of a bunch of yearlings eating reeds & playing in a pond. (wish the pond had been as pretty as yours.. but alas, no lilis around here).

Great photos. I was wondering what country and then realised it was in Australia when I saw the trees. The chestnut's gone really deep. I think it's an indigenous food, clever horses.

Thankyou all for the kind words. I see these guys quite often in this dam on my way to work. Always thought I would love to take a pic of them. Now I have my 450D and Nifti twofifty. Loving it.
