We saw the sun briefly this afternoon as well, but all I managed was one shot of a young female cardinal and even it didn't come out very well. Sigh...

Thanks Duane... ISO for this was 400... I don't know why the exif is not showing, both posted in the same matter..

Looks like the fixed that lens. Nice shots Norman. I think you got our rain after we were done with it, but since I can shoout out my window into the back yard, I kept on shooting when it lightened up enough. :)

Good work, Norman. Looks like you were right there in the puddle with them.

Thanks Mitch, yeah it does appear it's ok now... Rapid burst seems to be the best way to get a good shot with this lens as Duane indicated a few days ago, at least when their moving about a bit... So far I'm happy... And yes, it's your rain we were getting.... I can shoot out of one window as well but need to put up more perches to keep it interesting...

Thanks, I'm learning by all you here... Not as easy as it looks at times... I was about 25' feet away and almost on their level, yes... Sun is out right now but were suppose to get thunder showers later today and for the nest 3 -4 days off/on...

Nice shots Norman... the robin shot is great... pretty much nailed the "wet" robin look...

Yes there were quite a few of them after all the rain we've been having... Don't know how the dove avoided the wet look though...

Thanks... I didn't have to look far and long... By the time I got home they were starting to dry off...

Yepper......... it's the robin for me as well, Norman. I feel your pain. When I can't get out to shoot, I'm miserable.

Yeah, he was one of the last to look at bit wetted down still.. Sun has been in/out all day, with the threat of rain too.. Hopefully tomorrow morning, I'll venture out and see what I can find, that's if it doesn't rain... But I won't hold my breath... ;)
