If the fly was the main subject (which is what people would normally expect on a macro forum :)), then I guess lighting could have been much better.

However, you got very interesting shadow pattern there due to multiple light sources and to me it's a very interesting shot due to those patterns. I would have posted this in the Abstract/Still Life forum instead :)
