We never had cool names like that when I was growing up. Now there are so many fun and unique names!

C&C welcome.

Nice shots Matt. The only suggestion I would have would be a bit of unsharp mask to sharpen them up just a bit. Great expressions and timing.

Great job Matt.
Do the close ups at the T sell as well as the full body shots?

Kevin - I did run these through my normal batch including USM... they seem as sharp as I typically produce...anyone else feel they are lacking too??

Dave- Yes, the close up is something different parents cant ususallly achieve so it does sell well. I have started getting that angle first for the younger kids and then the full body the second time through. With T-ball the timing isnt hard at all. Most of my jobs like this are sold as a flat fee for the CD.

Matt,
Thanks for the info.
I'd been thinking about doing it as their expressions are hard to pass up.
I wonder if the shadows are creating the look of softness?

How well or often do you get those assignments? It's something i'd like to do,last season for my Daughters VB I handed each player a CD for Free...so many wanted to pay but i'm just starting out.

Those are great shots! My favorite part about watching my son play T-Ball is when the train comes...then the game stops (for some)

I stay very busy with youth sports and almost all chose the CD option. The cost is $250-$450 depending on the sport, location, number of players etc etc. Typically I book 4-6 games on a Sat and 1 or 2 during the week. During soccer, baseball and softball season I am very busy!

I do sell them...

Posters are not in my game plan...too much work for the return in my experience.

Great series Matt. They do look a bit soft as Kevin suggested.
