16-35L II UV filter options

I just picked up a 16-35IIL. I am looking for 82mm UV filter for it. I want to ask owner of this lens if I need a thin filter or the regular version will work. The reason I ask is because I prefer brass B+W MRC 010, but they don't come in thin version. Hoya has the thin s-hmc pro 1, but I don't like how it handle and cleans, but if thin is necessary, I guess I have no choice. Please adviced!!

When I used this lens, I had the regular B+W MRC UV filter on it and I thought it was fine. Might vignette a little when the lens was used @ 16mm f/2.8, but that was about it.

If you're on a FF i'd say, go with the thin filter.

is hoya s-hmc pro1 a good choice? or there are other choices out there? I heard the hoya digital one is NOT as good

I use the B+W Slim 82E MRC with the 16-35+5D2.
