1960 VW bug, restored 17 years ago, than parked under a tree!!

Saw this bug at a show we went to this weekend, it had a full resto 17 years ago for the blokes daughter, she didnt like it, so it was parked under a tree till the lad who had it at a show saw it and asked if he could buy it, it is still solid except for the drivers door!! Moss look is the new rage!! just needed new tyres and the lights and plates cleaning to pass the MOT (UK safety)

Gosh, I own a 61 all original garage kept, which I am slowly cleaning up and doing a little Resto. How disgusting/beautiful all at once! This may become the newest trand after rat rods. Thanks for the great pix.
