This is my first attempt at Macro photography, and while I know it doesn't measure up to the amazing work many people on here do, I would appreciate any comments or criticism so I can learn to make it better. These were taken with my XTi and 100 2.8 macro lens, along with the pop up flash on the camera.

Not bad :) good shooting angles and light but think you need to think about the composition more. Try not to center the subject by giving it more room in the direction it's moving. You will also find that shooting anything with a horizontal line in it will often look better if shot at a slight angle of about 25'

Thanks very much for the advice, that's what I was looking for :) I'll keep those things in mind next time.
