I lived in Northern NJ for 12 years. Love the woods up there. Nice shots.

Where in NJ was this? I usually hike through the Palisades.

I just realized that I made a mistake:o. The photos were taken in Harriman state park in NY, although it is so close to NJ.

I am in NNJ, and hiked with a friend in the rainy Saturday, took the pics near the crossing of Long Path trail and Appalachian trail.

A lot of good hikes up there. I usually take my dogs through Seven Lakes Park(exit 16 on the Palisades Pway.) Another good hike is Lookout Point, after exit 2 but before exit 3 on the Palisades Pway. It's an easy hike at first, but leads to another hike that brings you to a waterfall on the Hudson.
