I believe I recall after this happening yelling "I THINK I GOT IT!"

I have a series of shots immediately after this as well, will post more later, also need to go through 2400 images, so that's going to be a week at least...

Ouch! Does that count as a prop strike? If so, time to open er up, tear it down, and put it back together again.

Nice catch btw. I've always wanted to go to one of those. They look like a lot of fun. I had the chance to take a look at a P-38 that RedBull was having restored in Breckenridge, Texas.

Nope, these things are designed to be ultra fragile, they can't do any damage to the planes, he just kept on flying, and they had a new one up minutes later.

Hitting one counts as a 6 second penalty, this is the second one he had hit in his run, pretty bad actually... especially since he hit this one SQUARE on, and not just clipped it.
