ahah bear in mind our summer is Jan.. so its only 18 months from now a lot of popular venues here require you to book that far in advance

Result is 2 torn ligaments. I will probably need to have it operated. Grr. Right hand = camera hand. Just before summer holidays too when I was planning on doing a bike tour and some windsurfing.

When my gear got wrote off I just took it into ProGear and they did a replacement quote. That was it

Yes, I need to get it operated, the bone id floating around in my shoulder & damn annoying ( painfull)

Camera is being cleaned now... I decided to get it done at great expense, as I didn't want to experiment myself just before a wedding.

Just need a couple more thing's, tripod is right at the top of my list. I was thinking of the Manfrotto 055XPROB with the 468MGRC4 ball head. Anyone comment on this set up?
