I have just got a new pc running vista and can't get my printer to work that's connected to my XP pc. Plus the XP pc can't access the drives on the new machine, but the vista one can access the XP one. I have looked everywhere and tried all the advice, but sill no go. Does anyone have any ideas, or do I just wait for my win 7 upgrade?
I need help before all my hair is pulled out, not that there's much left now anyway.
Control Panel > Networking and Sharing Center > Is discovery turned on? File sharing turned on? etc etc by default a lot are turned off hence the XP machine will not find the Vista machine. Printer sharing is also under there
