Just got back from the Stadium watching Wellington play Southland. Despite our cheering Southland the others won. It was 5 degrees C!

For those 7D-ites, I learned the LIKELY RRP for the 7D today. Not confirmed but looking likely. Prices we'll buy at (and therefore the prices to you) to follow soon hopefully.

Body: $3799
Body + 18-135: $4799
Body + 15-85: $5499

Obviously, generally speaking store prices are below that, but I don't know what they'll be yet. Will update when I know. Those of you with orders will all get calls/emails when I know stuff for definite. :)

Orbis arm/bracket due to ship across NZ first week in November too, at RRP of $95. Personally, I can't wait for that one! 8)

Cheers, Dave.

Wow! That RRP puts it only $1000 below the current price of the 5D2. Based on USA prices I was expecting in the low $3x00. Hope the store prices is a bit lower than that. Gimme a call whatever it is though.

Price imported from the US - $2850 inc GST and customs fees.

Hmm, those prices, damnit, and I've got a friend coming back from the US later this year... Hmmm, warranty hassles vs saving a few hundred up front...

I stress again, those aren't fixed yet, and will be likely be lower in store. Just thought those of you desperate for news might like to know. :)

Looks like it should almost be a mini 1 series, with it's dedicated af chip and new features, so pretty good i'm guessing. Fingers crossed i'll have my hands on one in the next couple of weeks.

Look at all the features and finally the ability to control speedlights, sure not great distances but inside it would be ok

That would've been handy for me a few years ago, i'm happy with manual flash now.
