I used to ring Telecom weeks in advance and have it pre-connected, this had a 50/50 hit ratio. Telstra is a little better but still can take a while getting a damn cable tech out if its not live.

Dave you want another 512mb stick of memory to try? Have come across a definitely good stick.

lil_miss, haha ordered one as the site made it ever so easy, too easy.

Last couple from me, I think these are a bit bright!

Looks like I missed a pretty good day to go shooting things....

Though my 14yo is happy...;) He had 11 of his mates (shyte - boys and girls at that!) at home. I am glad that the boys were the only ones that slept over...!

Last one from me from the vat's

This is the first shot I took, shot tethered, 15 exposures @ 2/3 stop variance using DSLR Remote, HDR'ed (just for Dave/Weka)

Believe... Work hard... and it will happen!

Was the best one I've ever been to. But then again it was my 1st so that probably doesn't count for much:D

Cheers, Paul.
If it moves, shoot it. If it shoots back, get a bigger lens.
Gear: A slowly but surely growing list of mainly Canon bits and pieces.

Cool!

Haha.. I had that at Halloween. My two and 10 friends. Yes it was mixed, but only the youngest had girls & they are 9 so still quite young.
It was a late night and an early morning.

Would love to give another one a go yeah. :)

And I did give them a few weeks notice to change it over, but they were told don't disconnect old flat before 16th, and new place on asap. Old tenant at our new place was still connected here with Telecom at 9am yesterday.

Had our first house guests, Bruce, Mrs Bruce and Mini Brucette. :D

Cheers, Dave.

Hey

Do any of the Wellingtonians here get along to the Wellington Photographic Society events/meetings? I've been meaning to head down there and noticed there is an event next Tuesday.

I used to go a few years ago, but it was full of old farts. I've heard it's a younger crowd and more fun now. I should go along some time, but the NZIPP has a function the same night - just down the road.
