Like anything keep it maintained and dosnt become a big job. Concerte is roller bush so thats quick. The garage roof that was done with a broom so that was quick (2 hrs) All the windows newly painted 2 yrs ago so its just the trim but im still working out a colour for that. The main roof needs to ne moss treated before that gets done and its odd shaped tiles (metal) so thats alsmost a spray job but paint is always to thin so paint brush and broom I think. The bulk of the house is brick so that dosnt get painted at all. Gutters are PVC.

Yeah you just have to get it to a good state then maintain it, tell that to the idiots who owned my house before me.

Yep! I owned an 80 year old villa and it was gorgeous, but she was an expensive and high maintenance old girl....

Well got board today so decided to paint the outside of the house. Waterblased roof, and outside. Painted base and first coat on concerete decks. Hope its fine tommorow so I can finish.

Wow, wish my house painting was going so well.

Wow that's FAST. To paint my house I have to get it back to bare wood, as it needs to be sealed primed then painted, so it takes a couple of hours per square meter in prep time.

Yeah, what he said.

Yeah, again, what he said.

And in other non house painting news - I'm down a camera. Good bye 30D. Well at least I made a profit on it. Now we can afford the resource consent for our renovations :)

The people who owned our house did a major paint job and kitchen, bathroom toilet overhal. However the owners before them let some of the wooden windows go to ruin and the garage. So Ive been busy preparing to redo our master bedroom.
I have regibed ceiling and walls, put clearlight over the deck. This summer im putting in a 3.6mtr double opening rance slider out to to the deck and maxamising the light into our bedroom/ studio. I have to rip off all the exterior clading and redo as its 2 storys up and its a wooded cedar thats warped bucked and stuffed due to weahering and not painted often. Will more than likely use fibrelite. All the windows come out and will be repaced will trademe ones.
Plan to redo all the ceiling lights as well then new carpet and after all that new bedroom suite.

Boudior photography

First heat of 3 is 5.30pm, Final is 5.45pm

Prize giving 6.00pm

Had a call from Rally NZ earlier today (had entered the kids about 3 weeks ago) confirming their entry.

Placemakers are supplying some of the trolley kit.

Now need some speed merchants to design/build it!
