My news on my Lens.
Canon only offers a 1 year guarantee on its products here, and the guarantee date is based on purchase date and date you sent something in. Even if you can prove that an error occurred before you sent something in for repair, if you sent it in after the warranty period then it is no longer in warranty.
Also the 200 I paid for my camera was for focus adjustments and replacement of the selection wheel and is not related to the lens so they are not prepared to reduce the charge!!

So looks like I am stuck with forking out €550.00 for a focus problem!
So that means if I want to continue using my
