D-L workhorses getting ready to move Steamtown USA stock. Pretty is not D-L's forte.

No worries - you have some other great looking shots on your site, too. What's with the Norfolk Southern Freight Yard shot? Looks like it was a bit damp

Great shot! I especially like the ex-BCR MLW M420W in original Two-Tone-Green paint at the back!

It was a lot damp....taken during the middle of a hurricane. Parts of the yard were under 6 feet of water.

Pretty is not D-L's forte.

I like that one. It has a nice, gritty look.

Pretty may not be D-L's forte but unique it is.
Very nice Dan.

Thanks Frank....it was the classic July day....hazy, hot and humid....with a cloud of dust in the air and a thunderstorm on the horizon. Scranton is a rather gritty city on even the best of days.

Thanks Jeff....D-L has several pieces in their fleet that they have breathed new life into. The exterior isn't always spit and polish...but the units still work at 100%...and I suppose that is what really pays the bills.
