I know some don't like HDR but depending on how it's used it can be a very useful tool.

This image was made via 3 shots from a 5D MKII and a Sigma 12-24 @12mm.
The 12-24 can't take filters normally, therefore a blend or HDR is needed to keep FG detail.

Sorry, I'm gibbering.

Amazing shot, not over done like a lot of HDRs I see. Really good stuff. Got to love the sigma and mkII combo :-)

Wow that's awesome! My only gripe would be that the foreground elements are a tad dark, but I know that this often can't be helped. But yeah, really nice exposure in the sky and mid-ground. Kudos :).

This might sound mean, but it's true.

The shot hurt my eyes almost straight away.

Weird isn't it?!

Time to go and stare at some Ansel black and whites to calm my eyes down a bit.

I know what you mean! I think it's the contrast of the distant blue mountains and the pinkish hue of the sunset. Really pulls your eyes toward that area of the image.

I like it a lot however!

Now that is a great example of a properly done HDR!

Agreed, HDR can turn out some great images when they are not over processed imo.

Love the HDR and it's not overdone. The only thing I would do is tone down the blues a bit and your set for print.
