Just wanted to know who uses extension tubes for wedding ring shots & how they get on with them please?

I am thinking that this will be cheaper/smaller/lighter than a specific macro lens although my 24-70 gets fairly close.

Ta!

I keep a Kenko set with me all the time. It comes in handy when there is engraving inside the ring as well.

Come on guys... can't believe no one has any thoughts on the use of Extension tubes? I used them in engineering photography lot's - OK you do have a small loss of light depending on which tube but the advantages are weight/price and no glass to keep clean!

Are you really saying that NOBODY uses tubes?

I don't. I use a macro lens.
