im going to buy the 5d mk ii because i work for an authorized canon reseller and canon has put out a discount for employees.

my dilemma is trying to decide whether to sell my 5d to fund the 5d mk ii, and be without a camera until it is delivered..
OR
to cash all the savings bonds ive had since i was born (which are to pay for college), pay for the mk ii, and when it arrives, sell my 5d for the $$$ to put towards school.

what do you think?!

+1. why do you feel the need to upgrade to the mkii over getting some of your "dream" glass?

and the only reason im considering the 5dii is because i have the 5d to sell. i would get the lenses if i had lenses to sell or $$ to spare to fund the dream gear.

might not be a bad idea then.

then again you are still gonna have to shell out about 800 bucks additional to get that 5dII. that could be a 24 or 28-70 2.8
