Peregrin at Healesville Sanctuary

I was going through some older photos and came across these. Sorry if I have posted these before. I couldn't remember and I tried searching to check but couldn't find anything.

I took these pics at Healesville Sanctuary at their Birds of Prey show.

Nice pics of the fastest bird.

He sure is quick! He embarrassed the falconer on a free-flight by doing a few high speed fly-bys and then disappearing for quite a while! We think he was spooked by a wild Wedge-tailed Eagle patrolling the area. These pics were taken after his return.

Terrific shots. That second one is just wonderful. What a stare!

Thanks JGR. He was very protective of the bit of meat in the handlers hand. Kept wrapping his wings around it to keep it from prying eyes.
