Gear List link Does Not Work

OK, I copied and pasted the link on the first page of the Gear List thread into my sig line and I changed the post number from his example to the number of my post, #1845. But when I click through on my sig line it keeps coming up as somebody else's from three years ago in the Gear List Thread. What am I doing wrong? I know this guy is not #1845...

You only changed part of the link, not enough of it though.

Next time you can use the number in the upper right hand corner of your post. It is clickable and contains the link you need.
