Leaves / Playing with f-stop adjustments

Still getting used to the camera and lens, and went out playing this afternoon with the f stop adjustments. Quite a big difference with the two leaves. Only adjustment was sharpening in Lightroom 2.

The only way to learn is to practice:D

You do have some dust on your sensor though.might want to clean that before you continue shooting;)

One of the big challenges in macro is DOF/light and diffraction - thats assuming you can hold the camera steady in the first place :)

Well, I went and got a rocket blower, and that seemed to get the majority of the dust off. Still 3 or 4 specks left, so I'll go and get a lenspen today to get the rest. Thanks again for the tip!
