Oh, one more thing... Roy, you should print and frame that or put it up on Alamy (or both).

I most whole heatedly agree with your choices for first and second, no offense intended Jason. I would have chosen those two in the same order.

Ed, that picture got my vote the very first time I saw it. Congratulations!!

I also want to point out my liking for "Daylight lily", beautiful.

That was one intense comp!!
Congratz Ed and all winners, it was one of the best themes, Lava..

I wish the skyline in my shot was more clear, but its actually a photo that is in the glass...I suppose so when you are at "high sea" you can still see Vanocouver;)

Look forward to the next Ed!

"Intense" is a good word. I really had a hard time picking one. Heck I had a hard time picking 3! There were some awesome entries. I liked something about every shot. I really had to think about what I liked and how they fit the rules and theme. Just try not to forget the title next time. Those help clarify what the photo should convey. I found that to be a factor in trying to judge some of these.

I'm glad so many found the theme to be one they liked. I admit many shots helped change my definition of "naturally framed". Quite a few of you should get yours "framed" and put on a wall somewhere!

Good luck with the next one, Ed. I hope you don't have as hard a time as I did!
