After owning German Shepherd's for most of our lives we have come to think of them as another family member. Or maybe even another "person" in the family. The dogs are spooky smart, far more intelligent than most of the human population we deal with and really do understand what's going on. So today I look outside and my wife is having some sort of conversation with Zeus. And he's doing his part to keep up his end. From across the yard it really looked like they were discussing some important issue. But I wonder what this would look like to our neighbors? Would they think "crazy Foster's and their dogs"? Or would they be able to comprehend the abilities of these animals to fit into a human world? Hmm...

Great photo Jon. I'm not sure that they are more intelligent than regular people but they are sure a lot more likable than most people.

In this scene it looks looks Zeus is saying; "Now wait a minute." and then is going on to explain it to her. ;-)a

Love it.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Ok, I'll go with that one. He's most definitely more likable than most people! At least in our neighborhood anyways. ;)
