Another of my favorite artists. I'm glad I got to capture some of her gig.

I'd probably not have metered for the face, or at least darkened the shoulders in post to prevent them from blowing out.

I understand what you are saying, Rene. Lucinda is pasty white (lots of hard nights in that body) and the white light was very bright at times. I tried darking those areas in post and it was just too blown to recover. When I did what I could do it didn't look good at all...worse than originally.

I like the black and white treatment best.

i like #5 the best...good use of side stage lighting to bring attention to the subject, and she's got less shadows from the hat brim/eye makeup.

Thank you, Tim. I agree with your comment. The hat and dark eye makeup made it tough to get the eyes.
