I need a new bag for work travel. Can anyone tell me if a 5DII with grip would fit in the Think Tank Urban Disguise 60 with lens attached? I'm thinking it won't but want to confirm.

I have a UG 60 and love it for trips. I also have a Canon 5D mk2 and it will fit fine based on my set up after I take the lens off and slide in the middle section> I usually take with me the camera, 24-105 as well as the 70-200 or 100-400 based on what I expect to shoot. All this easily fits into the center portion of the bag..

Hope this helps a little/.//

Thanks Bob. Would you have any pictures of it loaded up?

The UD60 will definitely fit a gripped 5D with 100-400 attached.

I don't have a grip on my 5D + 100-400 combo, but as the bag has room for a 580EX II speedlite lying parallel to the base of the camera (which takes up more space than the grip), there is no doubt that it will fit, as the following photos demonstrate:

Contents that affect the width of the bag and therefore might affect the ability to close the bag up: 15" MacBookPro + 5D with 100-400 + Speedlite 580EX II

Gear in place - the front pockets of the bag at this point are holding rain-cover and multiple filters in their cases, adding even more to the width, or "thickness" of the bag.

Bag closes comfortably.

With a grip there will be more room than with the Speedlite.

BTW - it really is an excellent bag - check out the review in my sig if you haven't already.

James

James, thank you very much. Your review was part of the reason I picked up the UD60 this afternoon. Now I just need to load it up for my business trip this week. I'm looking forward to using it.

Thanks everyone!
