Two this morning shot at a local lake... Didn't have much time and I would have like the the birds to be more cooperative as well as sun a tad higher... I guess this could count as my mandatory duck?

C&C always welcomed..

Reduced the image and fixed it up a bit... A smaller version of the one below..

I felt bad for the Killdeer as it looked all alone with no family around or friends..

Nice shots Norman, that's a Killdeer though. Although it's in the same family. :)

Two nice shots - lit and composed very well. The backgrounds seem a bit noisy though?

Thanks much and yes the BG is a bit noisy... Tried to get rid of it without compromising the pic, but didn't work...

Just modified this one a bit..

Definitely your mandatory duck. I notice two things here: (1) you're linking in a bigger shot (so it's being reduced to show here) and that may be affecting your image quality as shown; and (2) some noise reduction in the backgrounds could help.

Hi Judy, yes I am linking to a larger photo, possibly I could reduce it in the future... I reduced the noise in the last pic, does it need more you think?
