I drove to Bickleton, WA this morning. Bickleton is supposedly the "Bluebird Capitol of the World", and the town has a population of about 90. It sits on a high praire about 15 miles North of the Columbia River Gorge at about 3000 ft. elevation. I saw probably at least 100 mountain bluebirds within a couple hours of driving the back roads. Lots of flowers were blooming, and there was a lot of construction going on with the building of windmills (the giant modern machines).

I attached some shots of a male and female bluebird with breakfast for the chicks, YUCK. I also included a couple windmill shots in the area too.

Thanks for looking!

Mike

Lovely shots (though those meals give me the heebie-jeebies) -- and lovely landscape as well.

If that's breakfast, I'm not hungry, but the birds are beautiful so who am I to say what tastes good.
I like the old and new wind mill and wind turbines also.

Great job, Mike. Fantastic detail and closeups. Love them all... including the landscapes.

Awesome shots. And thank you for sharing those spectacular landscape shots also. That's one part of the country I haven't been to but would love to go.
