I have a (probably) newbie question.

I am decorating my office movie-themed with popcorn boxes, film reels, the whole nine yards......including a movie poster display case. I would like to print out one of my own photos to put in it, as it means more to me. I'm a huge Narnia fan and designed a miniature wardrobe room set and lucy doll, took a photo of it, and made it look gorgeous like the real movie. I found the Narnia font online: http://www.dafont.com/narnia-bll.font (external link)

My question is, if I use that font to lay over *MY* photo (to make it look like a movie poster), would online places (like Walmart) print it, or are there copyright issues? This is for my OWN USE ONLY. Not to sell or display anywhere except my room.

Thank you for your thoughts and advice.

I'm not sure of legal issues regarding fonts, but fonts are for displaying/printing and I would think any font would be usless if it could not be displayed on the computer or in print. You are just printing it.

The copyright info also say that the font is for personal use. Doesn't seem to be an issue since you said you are using it for personal use.

No one at wal-mart will give it a second thought.
