I can't remember who but someone hacked their 40D to include video. It's simple for Canon and it's low cost. They'll have video and they'll have the new VGA screen as well.

AFAIK, rights for video shooting on sports contents, music concerts etc. are sold separately from photo shooting rights. With video option, they may treat 1D4 as a video camera.
