I had an underexposed shot of my bike that I took a year ago that I almost threw away but decided to play with it.

I sat in LR for a good 30 minutes adjusting and tweaking before I came up with something that I enjoyed, I wanted sort of an industrial badassery theme to it, highlighting the motorcycle and flag on the helmet as that "colorful" strength, while everything else is washed out or dark/dirty.

This is what I came up with
Original undexposed

and then what I ended up with,
Not HDR'd, straight LR sliders, the only photoshopping done was removal of glare on the tank and a slight noise reduction, but i still kept it somewhat noisy

LR = Lightroom

Adobe Lightroom 2.3 is what I'm using, then I put it into photoshop to clone out some glare.
