looks like an extreme crop... theres some noise but that doesnt bother me that much. what bothers me is the fact that it kinda looks like it was taken with a PS the colors are flat and it looks like just such a small crop..

beautiful bird however.

Shot with an XSi and 300. That's a lot of noise. Looks like a scan of a magazine picture. :)

Is this an improvement? That was taken late in the evening from a distance of about 8 ft.
Also with very cheap glass.

The last one looks much better, but is soft, maybe slightly out of focus.

On the first shot, I'd back off just a bit on the crop and do some noise reduction. Second one is better on crop and noise but not as sharp.

I really don't know why I shot that at f9. Usually shoot at 5.6 at the feeder.
