The last one is very interesting. I would have tried to throw some flash onto the fence so it stood out a bit.

The second one, the pedals are blown out and the flower is in the middle of the frame. Flowers in direct sunlight is usually very bad. Not sure what you were aiming for or what type of lens you were using, but try this with a macro lens and get close!

The first one just don't have anything going on. Good luck!

Thanks....my fav is the last one.
on the second i was afraid to get any closer to the bee..lol I should have focused more ON the bee.
the first one, well i need to work on that. not a very flattering angle.

Suesue, with flower photos be careful not to blow the highlights. The petals in #2 do not show the definition that they should -- the photo is overexposed. For photo #3 it could be argued that it was intentional, but not for #2. I think that your first photo could be improved with a slightly smaller aperture to increase DOF. Number three is creative but the fence in the background is distracting.

Please take my comments as suggestions for improvement. I am not meaning to be deliberately critical, but I am guessing you want to improve which is why I am being honest.

Keep taking photos!

somewhat soft photos. not much detail... the last pic was taken at a unique angle.
