Thanks for the comments.

I'm really annoyed with myself TBH

I have a Signh Ray Vari-N-Duo filter and switched off the polarizer part of it to get the reflection in the water of the falls. That worked fine, but..... it's made the rock's hot, instead of black. I think I will have to go on another 2 hour hike through mud to re-take them. Well that's the excuse I'm using anyway to go back

There mine too.

Still bugging me about the filter though. Next time I'm going to shoot with it on and off and see what they come out like.

When you shoot what do you use John?

Normally nothing but a CPL. On occasion I'll use a GND for part of the scene if there is too much range in the overall scene.. but other than that, nothing. On your #3 I would have probably done the same thing, to keep the reflection in the water...it's a great one. :) Although I use a CPL, I'll dial it back a bit if there is a good reflection.. using just enough to knock off most of the glare on the rocks. IMO, a little looks good...but having too much is worse than having none. Yours are fine in that respect!
