On my recent trip to Monterey, California we did a nature walk along the dunes area of the wildlife reserve. We came upon this skeleton but we couldn't identify it. It was too large for a dog or deer and seemed too small for a cow or horse. I would have to assume that this may be the remains of a large sea lion. Anyone know for sure? I didn't see a skull.
