I looked forward to this slot when I first found out that I was going to Tennesee. Unfortunately they were playing the main stage which was rather high and it was very crowded in the photo pit. I wasn't able to move around and many of the shots ended up up-nose. Sorry about the sameness of these shots but there was not lighting either because of the late afternoon sun.

As always, comments and critique are encouraged.

Pretty decent considering circumstances.
I hate shooting in daylight ;)

I just saw Wilco here in OKC a week ago, awesome set. Nice pics here, wished I could have been in that position!
Any tips on how to get into photography position for live concerts? Guess you have to have special passes for most?

Thanks, Tim. Adapting was the watchword at Bonnaroo.

Thank you, Rene. Daylight is a lot different than the dark of an inside theater and presents it's own set of problems.

Build your portfolio shooting in places that don't require a photo pass and after you have a good amount of great shots, network them to local press, bands to build up a reputation. After that, keep reaching for the stars. It works but isn't always that easy to make a living.

Interesting as high stage in daylight? I agree.

I love Wilco! I'm watching them on Sundance right now. They're amazingly talented.
