Unfortunately they were playing the main stage which was rather high and it was very crowded in the photo pit. I wasn't able to move around and many of the shots ended up up-nose. Build your portfolio shooting in places that don't require a photo pass and after you have a good amount of great shots, network them to local press, bands to build up a reputation.
