What got you started in to photography?

Well myself when I was 13 or 14 I love looking at my cuz 17teem mag (she was a girl) I love the pictures. When I was about 16 I looked at playboy and fashion mags. from their I made up my mind that I was going to be a photographer. And I studied very hard but with no money you can't go to far so I join the ARMY and their I took classes and shot pictures. About 4 - 5 rolls a day sometimes more. Then I started college on computers, I had to pay the bill someway. Then I started learning graphics, and taken my skill in photography I made a good living. I'm happy...

So I would like to hear your story...

I've always liked taking photos, recently my Mum noticed I liked it and suggested I take it up, and someone else suggested a digital SLR. 6 months later i've spent a huge amount of time reading and learning about photography, spent $7K on equipment, and i'm shooting a friends wedding in a couple of weeks!

I just liked freezing a moment in time (sun over my shoulder) and had some night shots come out well to encourage me. I was interested in chemistry at the time (age 11 - making things that would blow up & make loud noises!) & started developing film & making contact prints.
The real "Got Started" thing happened when I got my first SLR at age 16. That opened a whole new world so, when I finished my degree, I headed to Detroit to become an assistant. Photography has taken me to Europe & all over the US. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
