I've got a computreker that I use when I need to lug a LOT around.

My daily is a compudaypack.

I'm finding that it would be nice to have another lens in the bag, so I'm looking for something "inbetween" the two.

The compuday is nice, body and lens in teh lower section, accessories up top, and a laptop in the back. I don't want to get much bigger in a pack, maybe something with a more functional upper?

Online, it's hard to judge the size of a pack, and local doesn't carry much.

Any recommendations from yallz?

I love my Kata DR467. I love the quality, the material (which is softer than Crumplers) and how it looks. It stores a lot of stuff in a semi-compact size.
Sold my Crumplers even though I tried to justify keeping it because everyone's raving about Crumplers.

Go to your local camera shop and buy the smallest, most comfortable bag that will fit everything...

Kata looks interesting, is there a model that's just slightly larger but smaller than my computreker?

I don't need the smallest pack, I just want something that's inbetween. Local shop has limited selection.

Oh, damn.... Umm FWIW my Vertex 100 is just a bit smaller than my Computrekker... Just a hell of a lot more comforable and carries more because it is squarer...

Look at the Kata 3 in 1's, they have 3 sizes the 20 should do you nicely.
