1) How's the focus? The original was a very soft so I sharpened it up some, how's it look? (1/2500s f/4.0 at 175.0mm iso400)

2) Something missing with this shot, but I can’t but my finger on it (1/2000s f/5.6 at 185.0mm iso400)

I think they look good. They might be a tad dark on my monitor but its not calibrated.

Good shots. It's a shame about the trees in the background. Although i suppose when you're on a small lake or river it's hard to get around that.

Are you in a boat or are you standing from the side?

It’s a cable park, so I was shooting from the shore. These where taken near the dock/gate and first kicker, the better riders usually show off in these areas or try too, the trees where only planted a few years ago after the last hurricane blow through, so they still have some growing to do

The last 2 are taken a tad too early in my opinion. They have only just released their edge so are not at the peak of their trick. You can see that they are going to attempt something but you've just missed that crucial point where they are either passing or grabbing.

1st one is on the money, just a shame about the shadow on the riders face but the rider has style, nice grab and you get a sense of height. The trees in the background are a little distracting but you can't really do anything about that at a cable park short of getting a bobcat in there hehe.
