Tamrac Modular System

I got the Tamrac belt the other day, and now I was looking for a pouch for my 580EXii.

I was looking at this pouch made for a large flash.

Has anybody used this with a 580EX & a stofen diffuser? I know my flash won't fit in the original pouch with the stofen on.

I have the Tamrac MX5385 and my 580EX II with stofen fits inside with room to spare. From what I recall, the 580EX is about ~1/4" shorter in overall length than the 580EX II, so you'll have plenty of room to spare.

Les at Hobby Monster in RSM is an authorized Tamrac dealer and can set you up with a new Tamrac MX5385 for a good 'cash' price and might even have one in stock. The more you buy from him with cash, the better his prices might get. His shop is off of Avenida Empresa, which is near where Santa Margarita Pkwy crosses over the 241 just in case you're looking for a local place to buy from. I'm in Yorba Linda, but I've bought my Tamrac 5x, 7x, various MAS accessories and a Big Wheels Rolling StrongBox from him along with other items and he's always treated me well.

Very cool thanks. I was checking it out at Calumet and I wasn't sure. I'll have to go to RSM and check it out.
