Jun 26, 2009 20:40 | #2 It looks like one of those HDR's that, IMHO, was taken a little too garish and then converted. Your dynamic range seems lacking, The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

sapearl Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 26, 2009 21:32 | #6 ...hhmm.... there is something to what you are saying. It's almost like there are two photos. The clouds are beautiful, stunning a fairly realistic IMO. But the bridge looks a little HDR or something.... the start contrast and lack of middle and lighter grays. But I think it could be enhanced though with some selective layer adjustments. jgrussell wrote in post #8181919 The real problem for me here is that the bridge gets completely lost in the drama of the clouds. sapearl Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 26, 2009 21:53 | #7 I don't want to hijack the thread by posting one of mine here, but this is what I mean by a broader tonal range. I like your clouds better than mine, but by playing with the color sliders in CS3 and adjusting them with various layers, I was able to squeeze a bit more gray out for my tastes: GEAR LIST

My PP started with the sky and was so excited to finally capture some decent clouds I may have gotten carried away. It was one of those things that looked pretty good when I was messing with it on photoshop, but when I looked at it the next day I wasn't sure if I liked it as much..........
