Hey guys, I visited San Francisco yesterday and too bad I was too tired when I reached there (from a previous "thing"), because I would have clicked a lot more pictures. I'm going to revisit and hopefully get some good shots of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Coit tower, bay Bridge and so on..

One thing I realized was that SF is kick-ass for street the photographer (and motorcyclist). I loved the vibe, its like New York with European elements sprinkled mixed through and through with California. Here's the shot I liked, I PPed it a bit in Lightroom. Would love your feedback.

I love this building. Click for large.

I love the angle, love the soft lighting and am distracted a bit by the lens flare over the street sign.

It has a color cast. Nice photo, though.

I think the color contrast is on purpose

What do you suppose would be the purpose of a yellow cast over this photo?

Hey thanks for the critique guys, I did add the color cast as canonnoob suggests on purpose. It wasn't there originally. I added it because I was trying to make it look like a warm blue-sky summer day.

I like the de-casted version too, I'm just experimenting these days in Lightroom and trying different things. :)

@jgr: Glad you like it :) I thought of removing the flare, but I left it in there to suggest the effect of a sunny day. (a.k.a I lazed out :P)

I like it. I think it has a futuristic look, like the film Vanilla Sky.

Thank you. bw!

Hijack, I know. I did take a look at your photography, and it's brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I really like it. And the colour cast works for me. Gives it an almost golden hue. A view into our garish, 9 carat utopia of the future?!? Very cool shot.

Great shot, and I agree the color is good, looks like a sunset!

I know the shape of the building, but it almost looks like an ultra-wide lens on a never-ending building if you assume the sides of the building are parallel. Cool shot.

@Matt: I was going for that sunny look :)

@itzkryptic: I was going for that effect!I wish, I had a better spot to back out a bit without any trees/signs/cables (or other buildings) getting in the way/ or in the shot.
