Perhaps it is because I have two little girls at home that I was so excited to capture this photo. Nearly every weekend we are fortunate to meet incredible families and I always enjoy chatting with the fathers.

Each in their own way, they all manage to reveal how proud they are of their sons and daughters. However, rarely do you get to experience that emotion as much as you do when the father of the bride sees his little girl for the first time.

So often Dads are simply sitting back and watching the craziness of the morning unfold but if you look closely enough you can see it all coming together and the pride is impossible to duplicate.

I have to admit, I admire all of you Dad's out there who have been down that aisle. I don't know how you all make it through and my hat's off to all of you.

I love the emotion captured in these shots! The PP is perfectly complimenting.

Stunning!

Wow, very impressive. I love the static figure amongst all the action in the room. Speaks volumes. Very very nice.

Super shots.

I can see why you tried a tighter crop on the second but the motion blur in the first just makes the whole scene. Perhaps you could crop #1 a little?

You definately need to print it large to get any justice out of it.

Thanks for sharing.

I also had a look at it in B&W and it is awsome too.

Nice, nice photo. My question... did this happen naturally or did you stage it?

It actually happened naturally. I was standing outside the doorway trying to get a few wider angles and he came strolling down the hallway. It was so incredible to see the natural expressions on his face as he caught his fist glimpse of his daughter in her dress.

Thanks! Yep they were natural lighting only. Fortunately that room had 4 large bay windows on the opposite side from the door.
