A couple of weeks ago, I set out on a little road trip. One of my stops was Sedona, AZ.
Here are a few of images from that trip.

Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Well Marcy, to tell the truth I haven't a clue. :p

See, I met up with a local (from another photo board) who was happy to take me and show me some sights. bw!

We went south on Highway 179 for a while. Then we turned off onto a dirt road.
That turned into a gravel road.
Then he took a couple of other turns onto a couple of other gravel roads.
When we stopped, we had to climb down towards a small river.
The petroglyph's were in the rocks on the side, close to the river.

I have a couple of other shots of them. I'll post them up soon so you can see.

If you are looking for a size reference, here is a Webkinz (external link) Camel that I took with me on my trip. :)

Yeah, that's a 1/4 scale Canon EOS 1Ds MkIII with a 50 f/1.2 L lens that my Camel has.

Thanks Kevin.
The road up Schnebly Hill Rd is undeveloped (image #3). It is massively rocky terrain.
However, the first three images are viewable from the front seat of any car.
There are "Pink Jeep Tours" available. Jeeps with big over-sized tires to handle the terrain.
