I'm working on my business card and I'm running out of ideas.

So far I have this for one side, let me know what you think.

I'm assuming you have a backside with all the contact information?

While that's a cool logo, I'd forego it and keep it simple with name, contact, website. Perhaps take the opacity down to 10-15% on the eye and write over it in white. It'd hardly be visible, but it would still be there.

That gradient background may be too subtle for a 4/6 color press to resolve. You may want to consult the printer.

Yes, all the info will be on the back side (witch I haven't work on yet)

and your right, the gradient might not look right out of the press.

like the first better...maybe not center the text so much.. i got a mate who could fix that prob in 2 seconds... and make it look awesome...

i think the idea is there.. just needs a little designing touch... if you want to contact him let me know... he'll be cool to muck around with it for you...

I just ordered a batch of new business cards and I'm really happy with the design. Try and make it with some more personality. This is mine:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/brianfolchetti/3289369250/" title="Business Card Mock Up by Brian Folchetti, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/3289369250_da89c85189_o.png" width="542" height="617" alt="Business Card Mock Up" /></a>

Good luck with the design. I know trying to make a business card catchy while still getting all the information across is pretty hard.

I think the first one looks more professional.
