I'll be vacationing in Ireland in two weeks and have a 18-55 and 55-250 for my T1i ... is there a must have lens that I need to take for inside shots or will these two do what I need?

I would look into a fast lens that is relatively wide such as a 28mm f/1.8 or a 30mm f/1.4. Either that or get a flash and get used to using it creatively. Forget the built-in flash which gives "deer-in-the-headlights" look.

The 50mm f/1.8 Mark-II is a very inexpensive option but, the 80mm equivalent is pretty narrow for inside work. The price of a hundred bucks or so is certainly an incentive to own this lens.

I think those two will have everything you need. I am bringing a 35L but only because I am a lens whore, not out of necessity.

Hi Dwaine, for indoors I think you will want an UWA. Your 18-55 is not particularly wide, and I'm sure you'll find your self backing up to try and fit more into the picture. I used my Canon 10-22 mainly for inside shots. Some of those rooms in castles and such are pretty small, and you need wide to get them in.
