Sunsets from Sea Isle City...

I took some long exposure shots of the sunset just before a storm came in. I was trying to get a nice long exposure shot during the sunset to get some softness in the water as well as capture the colors of the sunlight and the darkness of the incoming storm. Anyone know how to dry out and get the sand out of a tripod? Thanks and any C&C would be great!

As far as the tripod goes. I'd try to rinse it really well and get the salt out. Better to have it wet inside than the saltwater slowly rusting away in there . I'd try some longer exposures next time. For me the exposures are in the middle. They're not sharp, nor smooth. Depending how fast the waves are coming, this could be 15+ secs. I do like the sky in your first.

Thanks Aaron for the suggestion. luckily we are heading to the beach again in a couple weeks, so I'll work on the longer exposure! I do have a neutral density filter as well that I will add to some of the shots for a comparison.
