Dad got a new Canon 50D at the weekend and son not to happy about this as he is being pestered to pose.

Shot with the EF 50mm f/1.8 lens @ 1/400 f3.5

Hi... It appears your son is squinting and you are shooting 'down' at him. Not a flattering angle and the squint doesn't help. If you make him look good, he is more likely to want to pose for you. btw, you can post larger shots here. It's difficult to comment on images that are as small as these two. Hope you like your new camera. Thanks for sharing
