I have just tried Lightbox from http://www.conceiva.com
and its well worth a look if you need a fast thumbnailer for all your photos & images. I like it a lot.
It supports all popular file formats - images, web, video, documents and is fast. The cool thing is that it attaches itself to your favorite applications (e.g. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.) to give them full visual file browsing. Also has an instant viewer with zoom, pan, rotate and a color picker.
It does not have RAW support as yet, but they told me they are working on it now for the next release in a few months. Here's hoping...
